I hold a B.A. degree in English and American Studies (Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic) and Middle Eastern Studies (University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, Czech Republic). I have a M.Sc. degree in Tourism Marketing and Management (University of Business in Prague) and an M.A. degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. I am currently a PhD. student at the Department of Anthropology at West Bohemia University with a topic of Tourism and Terrorism in the Middle Eastern Context. This topic, I believe, is a summary of my previous studies of tourism and Middle Eastern studies while it also reflects on my professional experience with tourism and teaching in the North African and Middle Eastern countries.
I have lived in the USA, France, Egypt, Jordan and Morocco. Besides my experience in tourism, I have an extensive experience as a teacher of English as a second language (TESOL). I have a TESOL certification from Arizona State University.
I am currently living in Czech Republic (Prague) while finishing my PhD studies. I continue teaching English as well as tourism and Middle East-related subjects as several state and private institutions. Most of the teaching I do is conducted in English. I am also a fluent speaker of Czech, Slovak (mother tongue), French, Spanish and Arabic.
