The National School of Business and Management of Dakhla (ENCGD) is organizing on the 24th – 25th April 2019, the 1st International Conference on Tourism and Sustainable Development under the theme “Destinations and Tourism Products: Competitiveness and Innovation”.
We have organized our own COP22 event! In order to motivate and encourage our students to learn English and put it in practice, my colleague Mrs Elena Chaykina and myself prepared a competition of speeches on issues of environment and ecology, where students had to present in English.
We put together a group of 10 participants, out of which EVERY ONE came well-prepared and delivered a speech, at times supported by a Power Point presentation, about 10-15 minutes in length.
While it was not easy to choose the best presenters, we finally decided to reward four students: Saber Ayoub Hafidi, Amine Laghmari, Boubacar Feizatou and Kouassi Martinese Paraiso.
I attended the Israel Week at Charles University, which took place between 24. and 27. October and focused on the topic of Arab minority and Arab relationship to Israel. My presentation was called Israel and Morocco: Hidden Ties between Jerusalem and Rabat. The event was organized by Prague Center for Jewish Studies at the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.
